Being an indie publisher is not an easy job, but it is fulfilling. Seeing an author hold their book for the first time makes it worth it. The long hours, constant editing, and endless legalities don’t seem like much when you read a 5-star review.
Thanks to eBooks, our work can now be read by more people than I ever dreamed of. And thanks to social networks like Facebook & Twitter, I’ve been introduced to a plethora of talented writers. What I love about these social networks is the camaraderie between authors. Of course, everyone is on these networks to promote themselves. But, for the most part, we all love to support each other. We all know how hard the publishing industry is, be it traditional or indie.
